It’s time to heal those wounds...

As a therapist specializing in adult children of dysfunctional families, I bring a deeply empathetic and personal understanding to the healing journey. Just like many of my clients, I was once a highly-sensitive child whose emotions were often misunderstood and invalidated. My own healing path inspired me to break the generational cycle and discover my true self.

In my work with clients, I'm committed to guiding them on a holistic journey of self-discovery and transformation. My philosophy centers on the belief that true worth isn't found in endless striving, but in embracing one's authentic self. I help clients make sense of their past, fostering self-compassion for the coping mechanisms they've developed along the way. Together, we create a safe space for self-awareness and self-acceptance.

please Hear me when I say:

You're Not Alone – I'm Here to Listen, Understand, and Support You

I want you to know that my approach is rooted in genuine empathy and a deep curiosity about your unique world and experiences. In our sessions, my goal is for you to feel truly heard, understood, and validated. I've worked with many clients who, like you, have come from backgrounds of neglect or abuse, where love often felt conditional, leaving a deep-seated belief that they must constantly prove their worth. Together, we embark on a journey towards establishing healthier boundaries, starting with the essential step of nurturing your own self-worth.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that healing is not the negation of pain or the past, but rather the integration of it.

One of the most valuable shifts I've witnessed in my clients is the realization of their own inherent worth, not tied to external achievements. Through inner child healing, we validate their past experiences and cultivate a deeper understanding of the "why" behind their behaviors. From this place of self-awareness and self-compassion, we harness their existing strengths and resources to collaboratively identify solutions and set meaningful goals.

Therapy with me is…

  • In our therapy sessions, I focus on you as an individual, recognizing that your experiences and challenges are unique. I'm committed to understanding your personal journey and working with you to develop a therapy plan that meets your specific needs with care and empathy.

  • I believe in fostering an environment of honesty and authenticity in our therapy sessions. You can expect open and candid conversations, where I provide genuine feedback and guidance. Together, we'll work towards understanding and addressing the issues you're facing with honesty and integrity.

  • Your privacy is of the utmost importance to me. I uphold strict confidentiality in our therapy sessions, ensuring that your personal information and discussions remain discreet. You can trust that our interactions will be held in the strictest confidence, allowing you to speak openly and comfortably about your concerns.

  • In our therapeutic partnership, we embrace the opportunity to journey into the deeper layers of your inner world. This involves delving into the roots of your emotions, beliefs, and past experiences. We'll work together to unearth the core elements that influence your thoughts and behaviors. By navigating these profound aspects of your being, we aim to uncover insights and triggers, fostering a heightened self-awareness. This process enables us to address issues at their source and create lasting, transformative change, ultimately leading to a deeper sense of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.

From IT to Inner Work

After a decade in the IT industry, motherhood gradually reoriented my priorities. Caring for the emotional and spiritual needs of my two boys opened my eyes to the deeper layers of human connection, healing, and growth. It was through them that I discovered my true calling—supporting others on their own paths to wholeness.

My practice isn’t just a place to process pain—it’s a space to reconnect with your most authentic self. Together, we explore the layers of developmental, relational, and attachment trauma with compassion and curiosity. I blend evidence-based methods with a holistic lens, honoring every part of who you are—mind, body, and spirit.

Therapeutic Specialties

Healing is not one-size-fits-all. These are some of the integrative approaches I use to support your growth:

  • EMDR – Helping you reprocess painful memories to reduce emotional distress and build resilience.

  • Brainspotting – Accessing the brain’s innate capacity to heal by targeting trauma stored deep within the nervous system.

  • Holistic Therapy – Centering the connection between mind, body, and spirit to guide meaningful, values-aligned change.

Incorporating Tarot for Self-Introspection and Awareness

Who says therapy can’t have a bit of mystical flair?

Tarot in Therapy: A Tool for Insight, Not Prediction

In my practice, tarot is not used for fortune-telling. Instead, it serves as a powerful visual and symbolic language—a mirror to the soul that helps articulate emotions, inner conflicts, and patterns that may be difficult to express with words alone.

Why Incorporate Tarot in Therapy?

  • New Perspectives – Each tarot card offers a symbolic lens, presenting fresh insights into your challenges, emotions, and internal landscape. Like holding up a mirror, it can reveal parts of your experience you might not yet have named.

  • Emotional Exploration – The imagery and archetypes in tarot tap into emotional responses at a deeper level. This can help access and articulate feelings such as fear, grief, hope, or uncertainty that may be just under the surface.

  • Pattern Recognition – Tarot helps highlight recurring life themes—whether in relationships, career, or personal development. Bringing awareness to these patterns is the first step toward lasting change.

  • Intuitive Connection – The archetypal symbols found in tarot resonate with universal human experiences, allowing you to engage more intuitively with your inner wisdom and gain clarity from within. How Tarot is used in Therapy

In therapy, tarot cards are woven into our sessions as a supportive tool to enhance self-awareness and discovery. As you engage with the cards, you may find yourself drawing connections between the symbolic imagery and your own life narratives, which can be profoundly enlightening.

Tarot’s Role in Your Journey:

  • Guidance: Think of tarot as a guide on your path to self-discovery, helping illuminate paths and possibilities you might not have considered.

  • Self-Reflection: The cards offer a moment to pause, reflect, and look inward, making them a powerful tool for meditation and mindfulness.

  • Empowerment: By engaging with tarot, you’re taking an active role in your therapy process, using the insights gained to foster personal growth and emotional resilience.

This process isn’t about predicting the future; it’s about grounding you in the present and empowering you to take charge of your healing journey. Whether we’re using the cards to explore a specific issue or to set the tone for a session, tarot provides a rich, visual complement to our conversational therapy techniques.

Tarot, in combination with evidence-based modalities like EMDR and Brainspotting, enriches your therapeutic experience, adding depth and dimension to your exploration of self. It’s just one of the ways we make your journey not only about healing but about discovering a more authentic, empowered self.

Your needs matter too.
