Online therapy, also known as teletherapy, involves virtual sessions conducted through secure video platforms. Once we schedule an appointment, you'll receive a link to join the session from the convenience of your home or any private location. During the session, we can discuss your concerns, explore strategies, and work towards your therapeutic goals, maintaining the same level of confidentiality and professionalism as in-person sessions. Online therapy provides a flexible and accessible way to receive support, ensuring you can prioritize your mental well-being without location constraints.

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss your goals for therapy. We'll explore your concerns, background, and any specific challenges you're facing. I'll provide an overview of how therapy works and answer any questions you may have. It's a collaborative process, and your comfort is a priority. By the end of the session, we aim to establish a foundation for our work together and discuss a plan tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

The duration of therapy varies for each individual and depends on your unique goals and needs. Some clients find relief and achieve their objectives in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. The pace of therapy is a collaborative decision, and we'll regularly assess progress together. Ultimately, the goal is to provide the support you need for as long as you find it beneficial, empowering you to navigate life with increased resilience and well-being.

Good Faith Estimate is an estimate of the anticipated costs of mental health services, including fees for therapy sessions. It provides transparency about the potential financial commitment associated with therapy. My aim is to ensure clear communication regarding fees and any potential additional costs, helping you make informed decisions about your mental health care. If you have further questions or need clarification on the estimate, feel free to discuss it during our sessions.

Yes, I currently accept Aetna insurance. If you're covered by Aetna, your plan may help pay for some or all of your therapy sessions. Because coverage varies from plan to plan—including copays, deductibles, and number of sessions—I'm happy to verify your benefits and help you understand what’s covered before we begin.
If you have a different insurance provider, I can provide a superbill that you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I also offer private pay options if that better fits your needs.
If you have questions or want help checking your benefits, feel free to contact me or book a free consultation.
